Meets monthly on the second Wednesday (Noon)
Through the monthly newsletter, “The Communicator”, SCWBA strives to keep you informed and up to date of industry information and standards. Speakers are frequently brought into the General Membership meetings to both inform and entertain our members.
In the past, we had conducted evening Building Seminars each Spring to educate the public on the process of remodeling or building a new home. Because times have changed in how people seek out their information, we have changed with them by providing some of these seminars through our new “Stateline Living Home, Health & Garden EXPO”. That said, on occasion when the subject need or opportunity presents itself, our Association and its members offer conferences, meetings, seminars, and soon, webcasts.
Additionally as a member of WBA and NAHB, various educational opportunities are available to you on a state and national level, as well as continuing education courses, spokesperson and leadership training for members in leadership positions.
The following is some of the Education, Events, and Programs available:
- Consumer Education (Informative News, Seminars, Etc..)
- Contractor Education Continuing ED, Informational Updates, New Courses, Etc..)
- Scholarships (Building Industry Related Education Awards)
- Student Build Program (Annual Advanced Construction Class New Home Build)
