Committees

A COMMITTEE is the most productive tool with which an association has to work. The findings of the committees are the basis for policy and direction established by the Board of Directors of our Association. A committee can only be as effective as the members who serve on it, and it is important for the health and vitality of every association that all members take an active role in volunteering and serving on its committees. We welcome your participation and new ideas.

“Every man owes his time and money to the business or industry in which he is engaged. No Man has a moral right to withold his support from an organization that is striving to improve conditions within his sphere.”

THEODORE ROOSEVELT

SCWBA offers and encourages all of their members the opportunity to participate in a number of committees which are of interest to all them. Participation on committees helps set direction, and obtain goals for the association. It also provides a means to network and learn new facts & ideas that may potentially benefit a members own business. Participation puts a face with a business name, and more exposure may mean more referrals, etc…!

The Membership Committee is the most active committee, for without members, the Association would not exist.  The Committees below which include numerous sub-committees (not listed) work together for the well being of the Association and it members while providing value and continuity. In essence, SCWBA is like a puzzle, its membership make up the pieces, and the committees are the assembling figures.
